HOW DOES THE PRE-MADE PROCESS WORK?

 

It's very simple. Once you purchase the cover, you fill out this form with information such as title, author name, accolades, tag line, and/or series name and number. You pick a start date (from our appointment calendar) for the project, and we will work on it, then  send you the cover.

how do i book my appointment?

 

Once the invoice is paid, you will receive a link to our appointment calendar. It's important to annotate the Paypal Transaction Number as it will request this to reserve the appointment.

Do you use stock images?

Yes, we use stock images from Adobe Stock, Envato Elements, Depositphotos, Shutterstock, istock, Period Images, & Neostock. All images used royalty-free and STANDARD license, which means when purchasing the pre-made cover you may reproduce it upto 500,00 copies of the asset in media.

Can i get a psd file?

 

 

No, sorry. We do not give out PSD files. You will get a PDF file and JPEG file as final products.

Do you offer series discounts on custom covers?

 

 

Yes, but there are some terms to it, like at least three covers need to be made at the time of booking. Ask us for more information on our series discounts or check out this page for a bit more information.

what payment methods do you accept?

 

We primarily use PayPal. Once you place an order with us via our shop, we will review the order and if you are elligible for any discounts.

Within 24 hours (weekdays), we will send you the official invoice via PP.

can i make changes to premade covers?

 

Yes. In some instances there are covers that the fonts can be changed. There is also an option for a Semi-Custom Upgrade, which takes a pre-made cover and customizes it to your liking (with some restrictions).

What if I don't have the information needed yet?

 

That's okay! Book an appointment for 6 months from now, then if in that time you still don't have the information, reschedule with a few weeks notice. You have 24 months to add those details, and if you need more, let us know. You just have to maintain open communication with us.

Can I provide a professional image.

 

Yes, but you must show proof of purchase and gaurantee that you have all the required licenses. Please visit our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Can I share
the custom
covers
before final?

No. Sharing pre-finalized covers and or other graphics with anyone or any entity other than the designer –at any stage of the design process that is not finalized– goes against company policy and violates terms and conditions. As such, mock-ups must not be shared, or posted on social media, uploaded to websites, or disclosed in any capacity, including but not limited to,  peer-review groups, author networks, friends, or to individuals or companies who are not co-authors of this project. Exceptions to this policy must be requested in writing and granted by B6 Design Studio

Can I share
the Premade
cover ?

 

Clients may share the premade design found on our website with the watermarks or share on the website, this must be done by providing proper attribution to B6 Design Studio and should be done so respectfully.

do you work
with different
languages?

 

Though our primary language of communication is English, we also speak Portuguese fleuntly. We understand some French & Spanish . We can incoporate other languages into the book cover design, however, if you need.

What if i want to cancel?

 

Yes, you can cancel custom work with some restrictions and conditions.  We recommend you check the terms and conditions on our website. Premade covers are non-refundable, non-resellable, and non-transferable.
